The cats always made good playmates!

The most unlikely of friendships - Golden Retriever and duck! Nicki adored Nelson and followed him everywhere, lying next to him when he lay down, trotting in his wake if he chose to move.

While we're on the subject of Christmas... These photos began as a way to send personalised cards to Nelson's breeder - since then they have become an annual tradition to give to all my 'doggy' friends
