My First Meeting
"Seriously... c'mon guys, I'm trying to sleep here!"
"Catch me if you can!" Mason and Mickey 9.5 weeks
These photos were taken during my trip to New Zealand to
meet the puppies for the first time, October 2007. As you
can see, all three were utterly gorgeous :)

"Is that Santa?"

Christmas photos all taken 11/12/07
Still, we did get a few printworthy ones :)
Taking Christmas photos of the pets has been a tradition of mine since we first had Nelson - I
originally used them to create Christmas cards for Nelson's breeder. Since then, I have started
making them for all my 'doggy' friends, and of course for Porter's and Josh's breeders. It's one of
the small things I can do to say 'thank you' for the great joy their dogs bring me throughout the
year.
Josh and his pond
As you'll no doubt have gathered by now, Josh has something of a fascination with water - mostly manifested by covering himself in it! I'm
told this is a genetic trait passed down through his mother's side :)
"BONSA!!!"
As far as I can tell, the aim of
the game seems to be to leap
into the water, and then out
again, as quickly as possible, all
the while racing round the
yard at full speed with a toy in
one's mouth (preferably a toy
that can be squeaked
incessantly the whole way). Of
course, it's simple common
sense for any humans to stay
out of the way of this doggy
race track!
"You can't get away that easily!"
"We have lift-off!"
"Coming in for a landing!"
"And I'm outta here!"

Josh and his Apples
Note: Puppy + newly sprayed bathroom walls...
not a good idea (4 months, 3 weeks old)
After a few weeks in the yard, Josh discovered our apple tree - with it's many puppy-sized, easily within reach and apparently very
attractive load of 'toys'. Despite already having a yard full of toys, it seems the humble apple is far superior, and thus it is not uncommon to
look out into the backyard and see a black tri puppy racing with, throwing, catching, chasing and pouncing on said fruit.
These photos all taken on 28/01/08 (5 months, 3 weeks old)
Just kickin' back and relaxing with my apple...
